Jun-12-10  pinoymaster77: Welcome back and thanks for the lesson learned in being a sportsman!

Wishing PACE more success,it's been only 3 months but lots of activities and more projects to come!

You are a blessing to the Philippine chess community, shelling out your own resources (abono) just to keep tournament commitments going, imagine retaining the same prizes even with just less than 25 players in 2 of the legs!

It also provides livelihood/income for
officials, teachers and also parents helping out aside from improving players' skills.

You're on the right track, sir!

Jul-09-10  pinoymaster77: What you sow, you reap.

You walk the talk, sir!

Spending your own time, money and effort for PACE and now its getting support.

We hope through you, more private chess sponsors continue to help!

Jul-24-10  wordfunph: <The Eagles: he seems to be really prepared in breaking the Guinness Simultaneous Chess World Record.>

all the best GM Jayson..

Jul-24-10  pinoymaster77: Class act on making it to the event inspite of getting wet in the rain the previous day and not feeling well.

More time to prepare for the Sept 11 new sked. As I've kidded baka may abs ka na parang kay Pacman by that time.

If 33 boards were done at PACE for previous tune-up, maybe try 50 and then 100 boards to get a feel of it.

Parang may nakuha rin akong style sa opening with white, magandang linya...

Jul-24-10  pinoymaster77: Congratulations to 8yr old Julius Gonzales of Parang,Marikina for earning a draw vs GM Jayson. I invited his dad Jun to let Julius play in the next PACE Kiddies I think that's on August7.

We hope to partner with PACE for the continued development of such chess gems to the next levels.

We actually need at least 10 of such young players maybe from 6 to 9yrs old, not just boys but also some girls, and train and develop them to world standards, to sort of catch-up with Vietnam...

Maybe another one is 9 (or 10 yr old) Israelito Rilloraza of Las Pinas

Jun-04-11  wordfunph: Tournament director is newly appointed NCFP executive director and Olympian GM Jayson Gonzales..

Feb-05-12  wordfunph: happy birthday GM Jayson Gonzales!
Sep-07-12  wordfunph: hurrah GM Jayson Gonzales!

<No one took Jayson Gonzales seriously a day before the Philippine chess team left for the 40th Chess Olympiad in Istanbul. The national team captain told people he believed the current lineup was strong because of its camaraderie.

“This is one of the strongest teams we have selected. Every one gets along with each other and this will be a factor” Gonzales told the Manila Standard>

Sep-08-12  Parbrahman: I don't see how camarederie can make a team strong because when they play they can't help each other. For example if you put kramnik, Anand, carlsen and Wang Hao in a team, even without camaraderie, or even if they hate each other, the team will still perform well.

That sounds literally crazy but metamorphosis speaking, that means beyond the deepest of being a friend or cameriderie. In short,"What you have, you share it to me,and what i have,i will do the same to you"
Sep-08-12  torrefan: Whatever the results of the last round may be, however, it is certain that mysql's prediction will fail--for the very first time. His powers are waning. It is maybe time to return to the loving arms of BW to recharge his energies.
Sep-09-12  mysql: I don't think it failed. See my conclusion at Iskubadayb's page.
