Apr-02-13  whiteshark: WIM Olena Boytsun – International economist, Researcher at the World Economy and International Relations Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Current rating 2264. Born in Dnipropetrovsk, lives in Kyiv. Main professional achievements:

< 2012 – Founder of the UCF «Chess for Children». The major mission of the Foundation’s activity is to discover the potential of every child through engaging children into a game of chess and to promote chess in society;

< Since 2010 – representative of Ukraine to the European Chess Union and FIDE;

Head of the International Cooperation Commission of the Ukrainian Chess Federation;

< 2011 – gets a title of FIDE International Organizer;

Aug-11-14  cro777: WIM Olena Boytsun got 10 nominations from chess federations for running for FIDE Vice-President. It will be the first time as Ukrainian will run for an independent elected position in FIDE, and the first time for woman.
