Kibitzer's Corner
Jun-09-09  Sem: Funny that there has been no kibitzing for Albano yet, since according to ChessGame Statistics he is nr. 7 in the list of players making winning sacrifices.
Jun-25-09  Marmot PFL: Better known as Captain Lou Albano.
Sep-20-09  birthtimes: Interesting that out of 35 games on the Sacrifice Explorer, only about a half-dozen of them have the ratings of either of the players...

Domdaniel: He is now at #12 in that list. It still seems like a very high placing.

SwitchingQuylthulg: Albano is high on the list mostly because of his super-high winning percentage; it's not that he's particularly sacrificial, the database just happens to be full of his wins.

(Before you ask, yes, AJ also has a high winning sacrifice percentage for the same reason; going purely by percentages he should be on that list, not much below Albano. Thankfully, it seems the system thinks otherwise.)
