Died: 26 May 1934
I can find a Eugene M Sobernheim, born in <German>, Chenango, New York, United States in 1854. |

Two players with the same name? |

 | | jnpope: Possibly. I haven't found any travel documents for this Sobernhein traveling back to Germany in 1888. My gut says they are two different individuals, but I cannot prove it at this time. |

 | | jnpope: More info:
Father: Rabbi Isaac Raphael Sobernheim, b. Bingen, 12 July 1807; d. Bingen, 20 June 1869
Mother: Friedericke Sobernheim (Beifuß) from Gießen, Germany
Siblings: Emma, Pauline, Jacob, and Hermann.
None of his family appear to have any connection to Berlin (so I'm leaning more towards two different people). |

 | | jnpope: Added a game for Eugen Sobernheim (player from Berlin). For now I'm treating them as two distinct players until someone can prove otherwise. |
