Nov-20-12  The17thPawn: One would think a gent with Simul wins vs. Alekhine and Marshall, who also held a orginazational chess title in Montreal, would have more games ascribed to his name.

He's noted as a corr player, who has done much to further Canadian chess.

Also this - "Of a pleasing personality, Mr Cartier impresses one by his courtesy and keen sense of humor..."
