  MissScarlett: Falkirk Herald, February 23rd 1910, p.7:

<Mr M. Kaizer, of the Liverpool C.C., has just been appointed headmaster of the Jews’ Hospital and Orphan Asylum, Norwood, London — one the most important posts in the Jewish community. Mr Kaizer was formerly head of the South London Jewish Schools, but returned to Liverpool in 1902 as Principal of the Liverpool Hebrew Schools, which position he has held till now. As is well-known, we daresay, Mr Kaizer is a very fine chess-player, and a former champion of the Liverpool Club. He has several times played in the Liverpool v. Glasgow match, generally successfully for his own side. We are glad to hear of his new appointment.>

Gerard Killoran noted:

<M. Kaizer had the first name Myer and changed his name to Myer Kaye in 1919 having left Liverpool to become the headmaster of the Jewish orphanage, Norwood.>

MissScarlett: The 1939 Register appears to show his birth date as 21st August 1871. His surname is then <Kaye>, of course.
