JOHN ROBINSON
(born Feb-27-1879, died Jan-22-1971, 91 years old) Ireland (federation/nationality United States of America)

John James Robinson, Jr., born Boyle, IRE; died Waltham, MA, USA.

In 1931 he was vice president of the New York Telephone Company in charge of Long Island. Later he was president of the New England Telephone and Telegraph Company.

A member of the Queens County and Brooklyn Chess Clubs in 1901-1902. His brothers, Thomas Theobald (1884-1920) and Ernest Edward (1877-1940), were also members of the Queens County Chess Club.
