Dr. Charles A. Mills, born German township, Harrison county, OH USA; died Cleveland, OH USA.

Lived in New London, OH USA, Spokane, WA USA, Norwalk, OH USA, and eventually retiring to Cleveland, OH USA.

In October 1891 he was elected President of the Spokane Chess Club.

Dr. Mills played chess in Spokane a number of years, and never while here met his equal. He has never played in a Pacific coast tournament but has met and easily vanquished some of the best players of the sound and California. (1)
