Jul-09-17  Marcelo Bruno: Jakab is the Hungarian version of Jakob (or Jacob). The most known example is Janos Jakab Löwenthal (Johann Jakob Löwenthal), the second famous Hungarian chess master from the 19th, after Jozsef Szén.
