Jul-18-08  myschkin: Cuban champion, died of a heart attack during a game at the 1952 international tournament in Havana at the age of 50.

Aug-13-14  crawfb5: He did die of a heart attack during the tournament, but it was not during a game. It was sometime after his 16th round game with Pomar on 13 March but before his 17th round game against Steiner on 14 March.
