Kibitzer's Corner
Dec-27-06  Karpova: Alessandra Riegler from Italy was the sixth correspondence chess world champion among the ladies:
Aug-13-09 She also was a four-time winner of the Italian women's championship (1994, 1995, 1996 and 1998). She has a degree in chemistry and currently teaches in a technical Institute near Modena. In 1997 she received from President Giorgio Napolitano the honorary title of "Cavaliere dell'Ordine al Merito della Repubblica Italiana". It's really a pity that only one of her games does appear in the chessgames archive!
