Sep-28-04  Morty: Tamer Karatekin. He was MIT's strongest player at one time I believe
Sep-13-09  Gouvaneur: 85,6% score what the @#$%? Does he only play against 1700 Elo guys?

  Open Defence: Karate me foot...
Sep-15-09  tamerkaratekin: : - ) yea I uploaded bunch of my wins only... Real score % should be around 50 like most of the 2200-2400 elo rated players out there.
Sep-18-09  tamerkaratekin: Gouvaneur, I am actually offended by the 1700 rating comment : - ) I have draws against the best players in the world here (2820 and 2765 at the time of the games), and you call me to play 1700s only : - )

Looking at your profile, I see you are from Germany. I actually beat the German juniour champ too when I still had no elo rating...

A Lytchak vs T Karatekin, 1997

(elo information in the above pgn is wrong, site admins won't update correct elo information for reasons I don't understand, at the time of the game, I had no elo)
