Phony Benoni: I suspect that <FS> under "Event/Location" is an abbreviation for <FernSchach>, indicating a correspondence tournament. If so, this could be the same person as Fiedler, who also has a correspondence game from this time period.

Lothar Simchen list of games has several <FS> with this opening, indicating a thematic section.

Does this sound reasonable?

Dec-25-13  whiteshark: <Does this sound reasonable?> Yes.

UltraCorr (2006) and CB Corr Database 2013 have these games, the latter says <Reinhard Fiedler>

I would guess these games have been played in a thematic corr. tournament, probably part of the <black gambit series> (during late 1980')
