Kibitzer's Corner
Jan-27-25  Alan McGowan: Born 10 November 1875, Krefeld. His name was registered as Peter Paul Krusius, but he was known and referred to as Paul Krusius. He died 24 November 1965 in Berlin.

Krusius appears in chess reports from Cologne, though Ranneforths Schach-Kalender 1925 has a Stuttgart address.

Later, he was associated with the Steglitz and Wedding clubs in Berlin. He was one of the founders of the Berlin Schachheim at the Cafe Moka Efti in 1929.

He remained active in his later years; the Deutsche Schachblaetter 1949, p187, shows him at 75 playing board 8 (last) for Wedding in a team competition, scoring 3/5 (+2, =2, -1).
