Telemus: Jay Whitehead's database has 80+ games played by him, and although E.Williams was his main opponent in these games, there are also games with Staunton, Perigal, Zytogorski, Harrwitz, Thorold and others. Maybe he has deserved here more than one game.

CPC 1882, p. 177 republished an obituary from the Bristol Daily Press, which gives detailled information on his activities in Bristol other than chess, and reports that he lived his final 17 years for the benefit of his health in the South of France. He was burried in Bordeaux.
