Favorite player: Bobby Fischer, but I like thousands of them. I manage the Bobby Fischer True History FB (https://www.facebook.com/BobbyFisch...) which focuses on old chess photos restored & polished in color, newspaper articles and lost games but grew weary of discovering lost games, transcribing from Descriptive to Algebraic for my archives but depending on the courtesy of others to add to this archive (yeah, including a cool one between Alexander Alekhine and the wife of Paul Lothian Cromelin... she won with Paul's helpful input, actually a couple by Bobby Fischer and a few hundred other). I use these games in the Bobby Fischer archives as well as other chess player profiles. So, I signed up for an account to begin adding them here I guess. I manage the https://best-in-chess.blogspot.com/ archive compiling profiles of by-gone chessplayers, chronologically by year, restoring photos, newspaper reports and their chess games. My story in correlation with Bobby Fischer... "The Mystery of Bobby Fischer" Is No Mystery (https://life-notes-to-myself.blogsp...).

Stonehenge: Nasarovsky could be Sergey Nazarovsky.

Samuil Vainshtein seems a bit too young?

NewspaperChessArchiv: <stonehenge> I am the first to admit, IDK. That's why I want to know myself. :-)

All I can do is submit the games I find. Just let me know what names you decide are the correct ones, and I'll update my notes accordingly.

NewspaperChessArchiv: Just a note to any one who may wander this way.. on my newspaper archives, there is a blurb to promote a chess charity. Somebody suggested the words, "...chess has numerous benefits for individuals, including enhancing critical thinking and problem-solving skills, improving concentration and memory, and promoting social interaction and community building," which were well said and I opted to thank the author and incorporate the words.

There are a minority of irate individuals, who have absolutely nothing to say until they can find some thing, any thing that is biting and critical. Right or wrong... they're wrong. That's why I go for the ignore button every time.

If an individual offers balanced conversation, which also includes the occasional helpful constructive criticism, that's an entirely different thing.

Some follow the motto that "Chess is for EVERYONE," while others give off a toxic air to drive people away.
