AlekhineViaOuija: I like Kramniks idea and I think the match tournament should be expanded to include Leko and Kramnik himself, as in New York 1927. Should any other players be included? I posted an article about this at http://cartermobley.com/Kramnik_Has...

AlekhineViaOuija: So Kramnik retains his title in a drawn match. We sure have had a lot of these results in Chess history, have we not? I think Leko missed his only chance when he failed to take the a5 pawn followed by retreating with Bb5. There seem to be several lines where Kramnik can win

AlekhineViaOuija: <wmd> Ah yes, that old game Kramnik Leko game, maybe thats why Kramnik isn't playing d4, he doesn't want to lose his title to the Benko Gambit!

AlekhineViaOuija: Wow, what a game. I couldn't watch it live but this evening I am thoroughly enjoying it. So much for my prediction of a quick draw today. I think this game has an element of magic in the pawn at b2 and I posted my take on it at http://cartermobley.com/Game_13:__D...

AlekhineViaOuija: I thought Leko played another brilliant defense allowing Bxf6 against his pawn structure. I can't find a hint of a white advantage after gxf6. I posted my take on this game at http://cartermobley.com/Game_12:__D... I think both players will be satisfied with an early draw ...

AlekhineViaOuija: As far as this game goes, Leko found the right defensive plan. I think that perhaps Kramnik could have created a winning position earlier by stopping off at d2 and f4 with his bishop, forcing the wasted moves a5 and Rc8 by Leko to defend the pawns attacked. Then Kramnik ...

AlekhineViaOuija: Although this result of this game was nothing more than a repeating of 16 moves of known theory, I found it more interesting that it appeard to be because of Lekos deep think at move 16. I posted my take on it at http://cartermobley.com/Game_9:_Dra...

AlekhineViaOuija: Thanks for spotting those errors derbyc. All should be in order now. (Famous last words).

AlekhineViaOuija: I have posted some light analysis and my take on this game at http://cartermobley.com/Game_7:_Dra... I think Leko was wise to offer a draw after axb6. Does anybody else think it would be good match stretegy for Kramnik to play something other than e4 in game 8? Leko seems ...
