   Jul-21-17 B Larsen vs K Shirazi, 1986 (replies)

say it with a smile: Some folks are naturally talented. Lord Giveth !! I'd see it everyday in top telecom R&D environments. Capa was one. So was the young Nigel Short. Young Bobby growing up without a father. Or the very young father-less Tigran losing his hearing while sweeping streets ...

Jun-18-16 Kasparov vs Petrosian, 1981 (replies)

say it with a smile: "Slippery EEL" is a much better pun for this games. The reaction on Gary's face after 35... Kc6!! must have been priceless.

   Jun-17-16 Tigran Petrosian (replies)

say it with a smile: The players of the Golden Age of Chess ( Tigran, Tal, Bobby) didn't live long. The former two died at age 55. Bobby also didn't live past 65. Tigran would easily get tired once he was 40 years old. Tal had his own share. And we all know about Bobby's mental illness. ...

   Jun-12-16 Korchnoi vs B Djurasevic, 1956 (replies)

say it with a smile: Djurasevic demolishes Korchnoi with an all out intense attack. 20. .. Re8!!

Jun-12-16 Stein vs Korchnoi, 1964 (replies)

say it with a smile: 31.Rf5 !!. Lights out.

Oct-15-15 Las Palmas Interzonal (1982) (replies)

say it with a smile: SteinitzLives: Because this tournament was out of Walter Browne's league. He was used to Mickey Mouse US championships. His short fuse/bipolar behavior didn't help either.

Oct-11-15 Karpov - Fischer World Championship Match (1975) (replies)

say it with a smile: Sadly Bobby quit early in 1974. He didn't wait till 1975. He had succumbed to "Champion's disease". He had lost interest in chess. Bobby could have staged a comeback later on, in late 70's, 80's or even 1990's to challenge the new generation of strong players/challengers

   Apr-08-15 USSR Championship (1973) (replies)

say it with a smile: suenteus po 147. Dude, The Intro up above is some hilarious BS. You forgot to add that Bobby's win also caused the collapse of Soviet Union. Seriously, you need to get back to writing your story about the space alien abduction of yourself and Bobby in Curacao.

Oct-25-14 Petrosian vs Unzicker, 1960 (replies)

say it with a smile: And yet another "King Walk" by Petrosian. Unzicker sings to the tune of Dionne Warwick's "Walk On By" ... as Tigran's king takes a long walk.

   Dec-15-13 October Revolution 60th Anniversary (1977) (replies)

say it with a smile: Above tournament description says "in the wake of Fischer's absence", Since when did Bobby ever play in all Soviet "OCTOBER Revolution" games? Who writes this non-sense?
