   Dec-08-19 K Treybal vs F Kafka, 1921 (replies)

1stboard: What happens if black plays 26 Rf2 instead of the text move ( Ke8 ) ?? Can someone run through Fritz .... Thanks

   Nov-14-19 H Karner vs Gavrikov, 1987 (replies)

1stboard: Lovely finish

   Nov-10-19 Vyzmanavin vs V Ruban, 1989 (replies)

1stboard: I ( White ) would have played Rg2 followed by R(h)g1 doubling the rooks on the g file and waited it out. Perhaps the text move Ne4 was better , but i did not see the continuation.

   Oct-30-19 O Bernstein vs Capablanca, 1914 (replies)

1stboard: Qb2 !!! Too famous a game. I find it ironic the two great players never provided a flight square for their King in this game. Otherwise Qb2 would never happen.

1stboard: < andrewjacks > , yes Bogoljubov vs Dr. Alekhine Hastings 1922 , most incredable game I have ever seen.

   Oct-20-19 S Volkov vs C Balogh, 2007 (replies)

1stboard: I wonder if Mr. Volkov saw ahead from White's move 16 exd4 that 16 moves later would result in an unusual Queen trap ?? I sure did not. But saw the first move but certainly not the continuation nor would I have played 16 exd4

Oct-15-19 Alekhine vs Tylor, 1937 (replies)

1stboard: Games with pawns only are the simplest games to win ......

   Oct-07-19 Tal vs P Mejic, 1974 (replies)

1stboard: What , neither side had time to provide a flight square for its King ?
