ArKheiN: Let's play a pure Accelerated dragon where there is not the annoying Maroczy bind! We could also transpose into a true Dragon in some cases.

ArKheiN: Nobody talk here, even in the little biography, of the Gurgenidze system of the accelerated dragon against the Maroczy, one of the soundest and most solid system of the whole system as Black? 1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.d4 cxd4 4.Nxd4 g6 5.c4 Nf6 6.Nc3 d6 7.Be2 Nxd4! Qxd4 8.Bg7 the starting

ArKheiN: Or we send a "commandant's world team qualifying for the world cc circle helped by the whole team, etc.

ArKheiN: Karpov played mostly Ba6, Leko played 40 QID and all are with Ba6. My vote go for Ba6 but maybe it's just a question of tastes.

ArKheiN: The reason behind ..Nd5 seems to paralyze the Bishop on b6 after Nxd5 cxd5. The bishop would be strategically dead for a very long time, but computers shouldn't understand that because it is well protected, so it sees it like a normal bishop.

ArKheiN: The Grünfeld defense rox, it's good to see a top player still using it with success again and again. But I never seen that Bg5 move here, is it a new idea?

Oct-05-05 Topalov vs Kasimdzhanov, 2005 (replies)

ArKheiN: Topalov used less than 15 minutes for the moment, so he surely analysed b4 at home before playing it. So people should stop to say something like "b4 break somes rules of chess" or "it's a bad move". Topalov understand theses position 100X better than any of us here. Just let's wait
