   Oct-26-04 NN vs E Canal, 1935 (replies)

BluE DicE: A very pretty mate. I got this one pretty fast, because it reminded me of some positions I studied when I was learning. I'll find myself looking for that elusive Smothered Mate, but the oppurtunity rarely occurs in my games.

   Sep-07-04 N Speijer vs Couvee, 1955 (replies)

BluE DicE: I got this one straight away, but that doesn't happen alot with me so I'm happy. I think it was easy for me because I've stumbled apon positions like that in my play. The other week I offered a rook in order to trap the black king in the corner, then mated him with a single ...

Aug-20-04 Alekhine vs Bogoljubov, 1914 (replies)

BluE DicE: Is there a mate here? The nastiest play I found was... 28. Qxg2, Qxh4+ 29. Qh3, Rxh1+ I think I could be missing something though.

   Jul-27-04 G Burgess vs W N Watson, 1989 (replies)

BluE DicE: I knew this reminded me of an old Blackburne game for some reason ;).

   Jul-21-04 J Pribyl vs A Ornstein, 1977 (replies)

BluE DicE: Is anyone detecting a theme here?

Jun-16-04 Morozevich vs Bologan, 2004 (replies)

BluE DicE: Yay, I saw Qh8+. I'm happy that my play is improving.

   Jun-15-04 S Pencil vs G Goltsoff, 1976 (replies)

BluE DicE: Chalk one up for Pencil... That was rediculously easy though, even for me.

Apr-28-04 Sutovsky vs Smirin, 2002 (replies)

BluE DicE: I pretty much saw up to Rh6+, and without analysing what happened next, I was sure there was mate somewhere. I suppose this is why I lose alot of games :).

Apr-26-04 Denker vs Chiera, 1936 (replies)

BluE DicE: What a fantastic game! There's no way for black to save his king and queen. This is one of my favourites.

Apr-20-04 Morphy vs Anderssen, 1858 (replies)

BluE DicE: This puzzle was also relatively easy The question is, is black worse of with two rooks vs a knight and a queen?
