   Apr-28-16 A Vuilleumier vs J Schadd, 2016 (replies)

BobbyLev: I have no idea why white is the winner here. Please advise. BobbyLev

   Apr-09-16 S Khademalsharieh vs A Stefanova, 2016 (replies)

BobbyLev: Sweet moves by Hometown Girl!!!

   Mar-08-16 J Jackson vs D Okike, 2014 (replies)

BobbyLev: I got it! I often see the outline of the solution or the first move, but not the full sequence of forced moves, and I don't usually get the full and exact answer. This was easy enough for me. 1.5 stars. Peace, BobbyLev

Feb-26-16 Chigorin vs Lasker, 1896 (replies)

BobbyLev: What happens with 36 ... Bd2?

Feb-24-16 Fischer vs Geller, 1967 (replies)

BobbyLev: I am going to hazard a much less sophisticated "Chance the Gardener" type of analysis. Fischer was the clear winner of the tournament. This game was in the last round. Not sure if, by this point in the tournament, there was a combination of other outcomes of the four games in Round

   Feb-21-16 Geller vs G Kallai, 1993

BobbyLev: I thought 39. Rd3 was a sweet move by Geller and caught black by surprise. Black thought he was going eeny-meeny-miney-mo between two pawns and then he got whacked and had to trade rooks, which I don't think was black's plan. Well, neither was 55 Ng4.

   Feb-12-16 B Lalic vs L Trent, 2008 (replies)

BobbyLev: This is ineffable. I don't get it on at least two levels. (1) Why did Black capitulate? And (2) what is White's path to #? Can Black do nothing with his tempo?

   Feb-09-16 C Norregaard vs Negi, 2005

BobbyLev: Bobak Zahmat writes: 20.Nd7 is the losing move. What should No-Rregaard (for his safety) have done? NC4? RD7 attacking the queen, which is what I thought he was going to do. b3xc4 or pawn to f4 to support the horsie? If he attacked the black queen with the D-rook, then maybe ...

   Jan-19-16 M Muzychuk vs F Lindsoe, 2013 (replies)

BobbyLev: I did NE5 to G6 forking Black Bishop & Rook. If PawnG7 takes N on G6, then Qx Bishop on E6+. King can only go D8 & then discovered check when N moves from D5.

   Jan-16-16 R Pogorelov vs M Petrovic, 2008

BobbyLev: Hi -- Why is this game over? What is the path to Pogorelov demolishing Petrovic? Thanks and regards, BobbyLev
