   Jun-09-05 A Shashin vs Korchnoi, 1973 (replies)

Boomie9: And what else besides 26..Nh4 Whites threats are so numerous black must play all checks since allowing white even one tempo would lose.

   Jun-09-05 D Keller vs Keres, 1961 (replies)

Boomie9: Neat how white fell into this one...his own fault for attacking and opening lines while 3 Q-side pieces sit on their hands.

   May-22-05 E Torre vs J Kinlay, 1977 (replies)

Boomie9: If anybody else is wondering why not 51.Rxb2 I believe the continuation would be 51...Bd2!+ 52.Rxd2 Rb3+ 53.Kc2 Re3dis+ with the exchange..

May-21-05 Speelman vs Kasparov, 1981 (replies)

Boomie9: Kf8 is very pretty.. amazing how Kasparov demonstrates the power of passed pawns throughout.

May-12-05 Bologan vs Naiditsch, 2003 (replies)

Boomie9: Isolated pawns and super-active Bishops reminds me of a famous Botvinnik-Smyslov game

May-12-05 Morozevich vs Grischuk, 2002 (replies)

Boomie9: well I realized earlier that Qf3+ was lacking due to the first line..so I rushed on this morning to post the true bone-crusher 34...Rf5!! 35.c4 c5! and white is a goner..but apparantly my alter ego has beat me to it! Grischuk could have looked like a genius and all his previous play
