Cee75: <GufeldStudent: Na4, where is the analysis on that move? > Exactly. I like that move way better than Nxd5 which will leave us a dead bishop supporting two pawns.

Cee75: I thought 34.... Nf6 would save the game for Black.

   Oct-27-06 W Schmidt vs J Lewi, 1968 (replies)

Cee75: How about black playing 35....Ke7 ?

   Jun-02-05 Leko vs A Rotstein, 1989 (replies)

Cee75: white could still survive and play 44. g4 If Black moves h4, Nf4 will be killer If black moves h6 45. g5 fxg5 46. fxg5 Rg5 47. Rf2+

   May-12-05 E Torre vs Romanishin, 1988 (replies)

Cee75: <boomie> 45... g5 46. f6 h6 Now why not 47. Rxf7 ?? will finish it much faster

   Apr-11-05 E Grant vs Salov, 1983 (replies)

Cee75: Gypsy: 24. RxH3 25 BF4 RH1+ 26. Ng1 QH5 Instead of NF3.. Probably better move is first b3 to take care of Nb5+ what do you think? Now Black has no options left to finish it off quickly. I agree that ultimately black may win but the game is still ON now!

Cee75: I am a novice.. can anybody tell me why white cannot save its game right now by moving 22. Rc2 If black takes option Nxc2 23. b2xc3 Nxc3 24. bg2 will survive the game! If black takes option Ra1! 23. Rc1 saves the game Pls explain. Thanks

Sep-30-04 Kramnik vs Leko, 2004 (replies)

Cee75: Good move . Now black just needs to bring other rook down too.. by Ra7,Ra1 and then do Rh1 and Rg1+
