Mar-15-14 Mamedyarov vs Anand, 2014 (replies)

Clunney: 31. ...Rxc5?? 32. Rd8+ is probably not so good for Black. But 31. ...Nf2+ is crushing. This is the first Black win in the tournament, nicely done by Anand! Glad to see he is playing well.

Jan-03-14 Carlsen vs Radjabov, 2008 (replies)

Clunney: Fanques Fair, 34. Qh5 is fine (although Ng5!!+ is much stronger) since after 34 ...Rb2 35. Rb2 Qa3+ 36. Na2 c3 37. Nf6+!! mates for white after 37. ...ef6 38. Rb7+ (or 37. ...Kh8 38. Rb8+). But Ng5!!+ mates almost immediately.

Clunney: I read that during their match with Kasparov, IBM's team was using computer assistance in order to do battle with Kasparov. That sort of stuff makes me SICK.

   Sep-11-13 NN vs F Rhine, 2013

Clunney: Gasp, white is up a pawn, why ever would he resign? ;]

Clunney: Rousselle* sorry, my spelling is garbage.
