Sixteen-year-old from the United States. My favorite player by far is Bent Larsen. I am just coming back from a hiatus of chess and an even longer one from serious play. I love chess still. Anyway, kindly bear with me until I'm back in form. As white I play d4 almost all the time, working on a few e4 openings, and mainly Queens Gambit. As black I use Caro-Kann and Queen's Gambit Declined Slav.

FLCLlove: I found the first two rather easily, I had been looking at Nd7 initially. After following the variations I found the next two.

FLCLlove: It doesn't seem that he plays competitively anymore. I suppose only simuls now.

FLCLlove: Huh, apparently both wrote a book. Would you care to share any analysis on the opening? Maybe you'll make us pick up the book... however it was written twenty years ago and was game analysis. It would certainly be appreciated.

FLCLlove: First of all, it has been previously mentioned that positions very similar to semi-slav can be achieved through Nf6. Also, why all of this fear over what he has played in the past? We are not any of the other players that he has played previously. Just because he's had success in ...
