May-09-03 Bobby Fischer
Ghilabari: The records here are not enitely accurate, so one cannot say such a thing. Fischer was a brilliant mad-man of a chess player, yet I think Botvinnik, Petrosian, and Najdorf were just as great as Fischer in there heydays. |

May-09-03 Reti vs Tartakower, 1910
Ghilabari: Qd3 was kind of interesting, but I don't think Reti' would play that in a game 90 game! The sacrifice of the queen is a stright-forward brilliancy. The logic of the game is beautiful in itself. |

May-09-03 Tal vs F Olafsson, 1959
Ghilabari: I agree. Tal was on the most aggressive players ever; in a lot of the games I've seen from him, he usually sacrifices something that seems unsound , yet amazingly he comes out the winner when the dust settles. Tal really showed the chess world that material was'nt always that ... |

Ghilabari: A.I Horowitz's How To win in the Chess Endings is a great book. Even though its old it shows many rarity endings and shows some great ending secrets. |

May-05-03 Fischer vs Mac Hack VI, 1977
Ghilabari: 9.g5? that was a really terrible positional error,( typical of computers, especially back then). Fischer mates in such a beautiful and strange fashion, characteristic of fischer. |

May-05-03 Judit Polgar
Ghilabari: Pono didn't do so hot in Linares this year though, I think Anand should be the true world champion. |

May-05-03 Adolf Albin
Ghilabari: I agree, the albin-countergambit has an unecessarary bad reputation. It has lots of promise and has excellrnt compensation. I have employed this opening a few times before with success. |
