Oct-04-13 Topalov vs Morozevich, 2013 (replies)

Guitar1352: Can someone please tell me why, at move 15, black did not play c5? I mean, it stops the discovered attack on the knight on b6, so there would be no Nxe6, right? Am I right when I say that the reason he didn't play 15... c5 was because he would be giving up most of the centre as ...

   Sep-05-13 Tal vs V Akopian, 1992 (replies)

Guitar1352: If this is Tal's last game he ever played, all I can say is I'm bedazzled. His last move really made sad as it's a novelty, and to end his chess career by putting his king on his original square just makes you want to have a minute's silence to remember such a genius.

   Jun-01-13 Adams vs Anand, 2013

Guitar1352: I can clearly see why this game was a draw. All one sees from an engine score is 0.0.

   May-31-13 Shirov vs S Sjugirov, 2013 (replies)

Guitar1352: Vinidivici has the correct line for move 37 for white. Critter also says white is 6.48 pawns up too. Alexey Shirov probably made a slight mistake when he played Qh5 since black could then play Qe3 forking the king and rook. Luckily for white, black didn't see this and resigned.

May-29-13 Deep Blue vs Kasparov, 1997 (replies)

Guitar1352: I agree with KittySafe. Garry deliberately wanted to lose this game. Besides, who knows? Maybe his nerves got the better of him? Anyway, Deep Blue cheated to win him because it had to be upgraded for this match, so technically IBM had to cheat Garry in order to win him! And ...

Mar-27-13 Carlsen vs Kramnik, 2013 (replies)

Guitar1352: Can someone please tell me why, on move 12, Black played Nxf4 instead of NxC3? Because Black would then have been up a Pawn, right? Because; 12 ... NxC3 13 BxC3 13 ... BxC3 Did Kramnik decide to keep the game even, or did he generally make an error?
