I live near Charleston, SC. My rating is somewhere around 1620, but I haven't played in a tournament for years.
Favorite players: Fischer -a genius although his last years were so sad; Smyslov - his games make it look so easy; and Bisguier - more than a GM, a genuine good guy and entertaining teacher.
