Dec-29-23 Dubov vs Nepomniachtchi, 2023 (replies)

Lattas: What a blunder by both players! Why not instead play a draw game without nonsense? Guess they regrets when they watch medal ceremony Saturday.

   May-09-22 E Korchmar vs Y Polyak, 1937

Lattas: I did understand I have to reach the 8th rank, but couldn't find the right answer Nb4 Brilliant move. axb4 most logical, but not best move.

   Oct-23-16 S Blaas vs P Pancras, 1996 (replies)

Lattas: How can I watch this game without Java?

Mar-28-16 Karjakin vs Caruana, 2016 (replies)

Lattas: Is Svidler playing a defending game, to help Karjakin?

Mar-24-13 Carlsen vs Aronian, 2013 (replies)

Lattas: I have chess site with several links to the tournament: http://home.online.no/~larasten/Che...

Mar-21-13 Svidler vs Carlsen, 2013 (replies)

Lattas: 33Qh5 was a mate trap with Rh8, Qxh6+, but a blunder as well. Carlsen didn't fall into this trap, of course.

Mar-21-13 World Championship Candidates (2013) (replies)

Lattas: Be3 was covering g5, so after Bxd4 the idea Bxh3 followed by Rg5 was coming up by the computers. But I thought it would be a-not-human-move, but with Carlsen you never know ;)

Jan-16-13 Aronian vs Anand, 2013 (replies)

Lattas: This is Anand's immortal! We rarely find games like this. At You tube you will find Kasparov's immortal; Kasparov vs Topalov. Good old greatness by Anand :-)
