   May-05-06 R G Wade vs Keene, 1971

Lightupmyknife: Thanx for that 14...Ne4! and 15...Nd6, a maneuver Max Dlugy was spotlighting - about 25 years later!

   May-05-06 Keene vs A P Sombor, 1965

Lightupmyknife: It would appear that 27...Qh6+ 28 Bh3 Qd2+ 29 Kh1 Qh6!, etc., does draw.

   Apr-19-06 Keene vs B Whitehouse, 1964

Lightupmyknife: These are just beautiful games, kids. It's about seeing a clear theme, and persuing it with ruthless (yet artful!) technique.

   Apr-19-06 N J Kalton vs Keene, 1964 (replies)

Lightupmyknife: My stroke may come later with this one (hee he). Thanks, Ray!

   Apr-19-06 P Morriss vs Keene, 1963 (replies)

Lightupmyknife: Yes, but the next 4 move are. Quick TRANSFORMATIONS which leave the newbie reeling. 'Weren't we playing an open game?' 'Why is he suddenly closing things up?' Ah, but he's not! He's still prepared to OPEN the position (13...f5!!). I realize Keene makes it look ...
