Jan-31-06 S Atalik vs Y Afek, 2006    Matein42: S.Atalik played the whole corus tourny very well even though he out-rated everyone in his group by atleast 100 points. Besides that he played this game very strong he controlled the tempo of the game and now the passed pawn/and two bishops with an easy win      Jan-30-06 G Bakhtadze vs Petrosian, 1944    Matein42: Im not sure if petrosian didn't play a safety first game here he calmly traded peices, shut down whites chances on the queen-side and then it was his turn and he most likely calculated most of those moves and knew he would come out on top in my opinion      Jan-30-06 Tal vs G Garcia Gonzalez, 1986    Matein42: I have no clue what so ever what black was doing in that game sacrificing the bishop for what compensation? I dont see anything wrong w/ the simple Bxe5 then Nc3,0-0,Be6 w/ a good position      Jan-30-06 Kamsky vs Gelfand, 2006   Matein42: G.Kamsky had an intereting tourny in corus 06' he clearly isn't at the level he needed to be at to play in group A though he did shed some of that rust with some nice wins over Anand and Gelfand will be interesting to watch him in the future
