My name is Morgan V.
I am from Tucson, Arizona, USA.
I love chess, it is a valid representation of art, sport, and science. I am 23, and played my first USCF tournament this year. I have a provisional rating of 1608, based on 6 games. I should hit 1900 my next tournament, and, I suppose I will see where it goes from there;)

MorganV2851: <sue> is probably right :( but, me being a HUGE radja fan, i hope he decides to "go nuts" if anand gives him a shred of activity...

MorganV2851: <fincher> i well, level is one thing... what im referring to is character... radjabov has tremendous spirit and desire to win in him... he strives for new and inventive ways to get strong positions out of the opening... and , in his analysis sessions, he is always ...

MorganV2851: radja will come out strong and well prepared... my prediction: moves 20 - 30 will involve radja "trying to convert his advantage" go radja!!

MorganV2851: a little off subject, but... kramnik is a genius... 18. ...f5 just played. wow.

Jan-19-08 Topalov vs Carlsen, 2008 (replies)

MorganV2851: a good choice by carlsen. topalov could very well get impatient in a positional game.... and, if he doesnt, black is usually fine in these positions and the draw %'s are quite high... i dont think carlsen will be too ambitious this game, he has no reason to..

Jan-18-08 Radjabov vs Adams, 2008 (replies)

MorganV2851: this game was mostly theory. 15 e6 was a new move (at least ,for this database) but the complexion of the game remained the same as the handful of others that have been played up to move 14. the final position offers nothing for either side.

Jan-18-08 Leko vs Topalov, 2008 (replies)

MorganV2851: wow... an incredible amount of "reshuffling" in this game! bravo to topalov, looks like he played with a lot of determination and energy...
