National Master Dale: I thought today`s diagram looked a lot like that Kasparov Topolov game.

   Feb-13-13 W Schmidt vs Jansa, 1983 (replies)

National Master Dale: I think usually not playing 10...Bxc3+ is normal and intentional since it puts blacks king in danger after 11.Bd2 Bxd2 12.Qxd2

   Dec-10-12 C F Johansson vs M Hernback, 1997 (replies)

National Master Dale: I like playing this with white playing 1.c4 and 5.Qc2 instead of 1.d4 and 5.Qd3.

May-30-12 Gelfand vs Anand, 2012 (replies)

National Master Dale: I don`t understand how this is a draw instead of a win after 60.h7 Isn`t white still planning to queen?

Jan-08-12 Nakamura vs Giri, 2012 (replies)

National Master Dale: What will black do to win if white shuffles a rook back and forth from d1 to b1 ?

   Jan-06-12 D Gurevich vs Tiviakov, 1999 (replies)

National Master Dale: 19...Rb3 is a bit of a mystery.

   Dec-23-11 B Kvisvik vs N Batsiashvili, 2011 (replies)

National Master Dale: 23...Kxg7 is a bit of a mystery. I might try 23...Qe2 and hope for the best.

   Oct-03-10 A Timofeev vs S Wassin, 2010 (replies)

National Master Dale: I think the 13th and 14th move by both players should be vapourized.

   Apr-26-10 V Vepkhvishvili vs Z Rukhadze, 1965 (replies)

National Master Dale: I learned this mate from the book Bobby Fischer teaches chess. I recommend that book. Its especially good for teaching one to interpose a major piece on the back rank so your are not back rank mated.

Sep-07-09 Zukertort vs NN, 1862 (replies)

National Master Dale: 23.Nxb5 is a little mysterious
