   Sep-22-10 M Al Sayed vs K Meier, 2010

Professor Chaos: Black helps White trap his queen.

   Sep-22-10 T Gillani vs H Lopez Silva, 2010

Professor Chaos: 12. Nf5 loses white has to play 12. Bxg4 or 12. Bf4

Aug-21-10 Nakamura vs Svidler, 2010 (replies)

Professor Chaos: Karjakin vs Eljanov, 2009 22...d5 [DIAGRAM] Nakamura vs Svidler, 2010 22...d5 [DIAGRAM]

   Aug-13-10 Tinsley vs Bird, 1895

Professor Chaos: <Qb3 is rarely good in this opening.> I don't know if it's a bad move the majority of the time, but in this game 10. Qb3 locks white's queen out of any important duty for the majority of the middle game. And then, white tries an inadequte kingside attack with his queen

Apr-30-10 Anand - Topalov World Championship Match (2010) (replies)

Professor Chaos: <Tomorrow a big test for Topalov. Two games with black, two games lost. What will happen tomorrow?> 1. d4 Nf6 2. c4 e6 3. Nf3 d5 4. g3

   Apr-08-10 A Rakhmanov vs Bologan, 2010

Professor Chaos: black's center was just too strong in this game

   Apr-08-10 A Timofeev vs M Krylov, 2010

Professor Chaos: 28. Bxf7+ Rxf7 29. Rec1 traps the black queen and it's a wrap nice tactic

   Apr-08-10 Eljanov vs A A Ivanov, 2010 (replies)

Professor Chaos: Andrey A Ivanov will be seeing pawns in his sleep after this game. White gobbles up space on the board. I don't think I've seen d4, c4, b4, and a4 lined up in a row in a real game before. Maybe Ivanov likes to play in these cramped positions?

   Apr-08-10 Potkin vs E Alekseev, 2010

Professor Chaos: It's a quick draw, but by the move order maybe white wanted to go up against a queen's indian and not a catalan or QGD. Is there any other reason not to play Nc3 first if you didn't want to avoid a Nimzo?

   Apr-08-10 H Ni vs E Gasanov, 2010

Professor Chaos: Black's game seems to go downhill after 10...Ne5. How about 10...g6 and then Bg7 and O-O instead? With the idea of using the dark center squares and attacking c3 if white moves his d-pawn.
