Quintiliano: In his autobiography Laszlo Szabo remarks that at the 1956 Candidates' Pilnik spent most of the available time playing bridge (his true passion, apparently). And yet this tail-ender defeated Szabo, thus ruining his (very good) chances to challenge Botvinnik.

Quintiliano: Just finished reading Andrew Soltis' chess novel, LOS VORACES 2019. I enjoyed it thoroughly and I definetely recommend it to fellow chessaddicts.
