   Aug-22-14 Topalov vs A Beliavsky, 1999 (replies)

Seaholme: @Morfishine: I think that after 42...Nxd6 white simply wins with 43.Rg6+

   Aug-08-14 E Maggiolo vs D Suarez, 1994 (replies)

Seaholme: Hey, got it all figured out! 10 minutes on the bus suddenly made me feel a lot better, not like fridaypuzzles usually do...

Jul-11-14 von Gottschall vs F Riemann, 1885 (replies)

Seaholme: <morfishine: A prime example of word play that only fills 1/2 of the ref requirements thus falling short of being an actual pun> Maybe Fritz Riemanns conjecture was that black win in all lines after 3... Nf6 ?

   Jun-03-14 H Steiner vs Tartakower, 1946 (replies)

Seaholme: Ok, so i totally missed that it is mate on Qb4 but still calculated mate in all variations, here it goes: 27...Qd2+ 28.Kb3 Qb2+ 29.Kxc4 Rc8 Mate. or 27...Qd2+ 28.Kxc4 Rc8+ 29.Kb3 Qc2+ 30.Ka3 Qa4+ 31.Kb2 Rc2+ 32.Kb1 or 32.Ka1 is both mate to 32...Qxa1. I guess I made the puzzle to

   May-22-14 T Petenyi vs Bacrot, 2014 (replies)

Seaholme: 50... h4 leads to: 51. Qxh4 Rh1+ 52. Kg3 Qe1+ 53. Rf2 Rf1 54. Qf6+ Kg8 55. Qd8+ Kh7 56. Qb6! And white does not win material since he cannot play 56... h4

   Jan-02-14 Y Zhou vs N Pert, 2013 (replies)

Seaholme: The moves Nb8 and Nb1 are rather hilarious, but the intentions are obvious

   Jan-02-14 G Page vs Petrov, 1933 (replies)

Seaholme: I disagree Paramount, you have to calculate all variations in the Qf6+ line, it is not obvious that it leads to a certain victory. There are other candidate moves (Qh4, Qg5, and maybe even crazy stuff as f5)

   Dec-31-13 R Quinault vs Lasker, 1904 (replies)

Seaholme: I have to admit that i spent 10-15 minutes calculating all variations, which is More then the usual tuesday, since taking on g2(26th move) in the 25.. Kg1 variation didnt work before 26. Rh1 Was played.

   Jul-14-12 R Beyen vs Filip, 1971 (replies)

Seaholme: Just got hom from the swedish championship, saw the winning variation instantly. I guess a week of chess really makes you more alert.

   Sep-01-11 Grischuk vs V Genba, 2011 (replies)

Seaholme: 2 bad i saw this when it was played, no problem "solving" it then...
