   Feb-18-19 Dautov vs M Schoene, 2009 (replies)
Spassfish: 33 nf4 does the job too.
   Jan-26-19 M Gurevich vs N Pert, 2007 (replies)
Spassfish: This is NOT a puzzle. It is half of a game that could have gone anywhere. Disappointing selection. Might as well have been e4 figure it out from there yourself.
   Jan-22-19 W T Mayfield vs W R Trinks, 1959 (replies)
Spassfish: Never, in the history of chess, has so much been said about so little! Nuff said.
   Dec-23-18 I Salgado Lopez vs D Debashis, 2014 (replies)
Spassfish: Chess engines take the beauty out of this game and destroy the fun of the human factor. Lets get BORED with stocktrout. Putting your pieces at the corner of squares to unnerve OCD opponents & getting big buggers out of your schnoz while your opponent cringes...that is a chess ...
Dec-07-18 Judit Polgar vs Karpov, 2003 (replies)
Spassfish: Is she married? Nothing like getting mated by a brilliant woman. My hat is off to her. Her world is not an easy place for the tender gender. Brilliant game. Her perseverance is truly remarkable & admirable.A role model for my daughters.
   Dec-06-18 S Slipak vs T Gibson, 2008 (replies)
Spassfish: Whoops, got it . 34...Qa1+ 35. Kg2 Rd1 36. Nxg6+ Kg8 37. f7+ Kh7 38. f8=Q+ Kxg6
Nov-26-18 Caruana vs Carlsen, 2018 (replies)
Spassfish: If a baseball game was a no-hitter for 20 innings it becomes simply a boor. Especially when no none ever swings a bat. Double bughouse anyone?
Nov-18-18 Carlsen vs Caruana, 2018 (replies)
Spassfish: What is wrong with ...g5? Draw schmaw. Lazy I say.
Nov-13-18 Carlsen vs Caruana, 2018 (replies)
Spassfish: The open c file and pawn seems to present the only imbalance and opportunity for Caruana. I would say his position is slightly better but forcing it through is not simple.
Oct-11-18 Morphy vs de Riviere, 1863 (replies)
Spassfish: Early queen exposure can be a bad thing but...the shortest checkmate possible has 2..Qh4++ as a finale. Just sayin.
