I've just recently learned how to play chess and now I'm addicted. I recently decided to try playing on the internet since I got bored of slaughtering my family.

So far I've flipped through Capablanca's "Chess Fundamentals" and other books that I can find at my local library but I'm too lazy to actually study them.

Right now I am playing as "guest" in the ICC but I'm soon going to take the free trial to see if it's worth the money to get a membership.

My biggest pet peeve is when you work hard creating a beautiful game and BAM! your opponent makes the dumbest move and ruins the game (or when I do it :( )

Capablanca is my favorite player because so far he's the only one that I really know but I'll try to change that by taking advantage of your amazing site.

SuicidalKing: I wouldn't think that the strength of a super grandmaster diminishes much, if at all, when playing only one blind fold game.
