Feb-14-03 Anand vs Ftacnik, 1993 (replies)

TheOppositeOfChess: I always wonder if saving moves like 28. Nc1 are just sheer luck or the result of amazing foresight. On a side note, I feel sorry Anand came so close to the elusive 2800 mark but hasn't made it over yet...Like Mario Lemieux scoring 199 points and only being 1 point ...

   Feb-13-03 Sasikiran vs S Satyapragyan, 2003

TheOppositeOfChess: what a pin!

Feb-11-03 Karpov vs Kasparov, 1985 (replies)

TheOppositeOfChess: what does anyone think about 13. d6 instead?

   Feb-09-03 Deep Junior (Computer) (replies)

TheOppositeOfChess: Last time I checked my accomplishments in chess are 51 wins in a row and drawing against two IM's. what about you?

Feb-08-03 Deep Junior vs Kasparov, 2003 (replies)

TheOppositeOfChess: "Computers are not "out-playing" the humans they are simply waiting for humans to make mistakes, that is not superiority." coxchess... How is capitalizing on someones mistakes not outplaying them? How are you not "superior" when you are realizing your opponent is making ...

Feb-06-03 Timman vs Kasparov, 1985 (replies)

TheOppositeOfChess: Seriously, J.T's gonads were made of steel.

   Feb-04-03 Fischer vs O Gadia, 1960 (replies)

TheOppositeOfChess: Whatever the answer may be, I'm sure deep within the insane laboratory which is the mind of Bobby Fischer, he would of shreiked with sadistic glee if Olicio took the pawn.

Jan-31-03 Kasparov vs Deep Junior, 2003 (replies)

TheOppositeOfChess: I would of played 23. R x N and lost

Jan-14-03 Fischer vs Petrosian, 1962 (replies)

TheOppositeOfChess: Fischer is said to prefer a bishop over a knight, watch how superior the bishop is during the final moves, it wins the game. I think the reasoning behind a4 is because if it's taken, rook d1-a1 would be disasterous.

Jan-13-03 Leko vs Adams, 2001 (replies)

TheOppositeOfChess: They turned this one into an endgame awfully fast, which seems the opposite of FischerRandom chess, I would of liked to seem more tactics.
