Jan-30-14 Aronian vs Anand, 2014 (replies)

Udayan Chawdhary: How does one flip the board in the current java setting. I dont have a clue

Nov-08-13 Anand - Carlsen World Championship Match (2013) (replies)

Udayan Chawdhary: Carlsen is perhaps the only Chess player to be a sex symbol. Correct me if I am wrong. Anand is nice but lacks sex appeal.

Jun-02-11 XXIV Magistral de Ajedrez Ciudad de Leon (2011) (replies)

Udayan Chawdhary: I Kibitz occasionally. Since I am from India, I would naturally like Anand to be counted in the pantheon of all time greats. I do not know whether he belongs there. But certainly he has good credentials to be in that elite club of all time greats. As a chess follower my all

May-26-11 World Championship Candidates (2011) (replies)

Udayan Chawdhary: I am from India. It is natural that i will root for Anand. But Gelfand is a very strong player and has the rare ability to raise his game at a crucial juncture. In my opinion it is 51-49 in favour of Anand. It won't be a one sided contest. I am sure of that.

May-25-11 Gelfand vs Grischuk, 2011 (replies)

Udayan Chawdhary: The better player won.

   Feb-02-11 Tata Steel Group A (2011) (replies)

Udayan Chawdhary: Real World champs in any field have a healthy blend of being aggressive and being conservative. Anand is one of them. In India, we have litle sports icons as compared to other countries. Hence being an Indian, it is quite natural to be proud of Anand's accomplishments. ...

May-02-10 Anand - Topalov World Championship Match (2010) (replies)

Udayan Chawdhary: really? anand v kamsky That match which is being referred was played in early 90's. Since then Anand has come a long way. There is a big difference between Anand of 20th Century and Anand of 21st Century. I am sure Garry Kasparov will agree with me, even though i am a ...

Nov-02-06 Kramnik - Topalov World Championship Match (2006) (replies)

Udayan Chawdhary: These arguments will go on and on. Suffice to say I would prefer to understand the game like Kramnik and play like Topalov

   Oct-28-06 Topalov vs J Polgar, 2006 (replies)

Udayan Chawdhary: After this defeat, hatred towards Topalov should subside. Players like Topa are rare. They either win by a mile or loose by a mile. He should take rest, after that he will come back roaring.

   Oct-28-06 Essent Tournament (2006) (replies)

Udayan Chawdhary: I feel hatred against Topalov should subside by now. Although he was beaten by Kramnik. Topo's style of game in the WC had been more attractive and impressive, despite Kramnik having lost a point unfairly.
