Tony. Currently living in the pasture that is Columbus OH. Played chess all my life, quite poorly if I might add. Never played in a competitive tournament (never got up the guts).

Whiteresigns: I have this strange feeling that we're about due for a Gelfand once every few years good tournament. Then again, it might be gas.

May-11-10 Anand - Topalov World Championship Match (2010) (replies)

Whiteresigns: <villageboy: Anand does not deserve the crown after Kg7.> Sorta funny how Chessok gives this "blunder" an !. Think again.

Whiteresigns: Rd8 for the poll. As an annotator might say, "Natural and good."

Oct-29-08 Anand vs Kramnik, 2008 (replies)

Whiteresigns: Has to be Nxc8 and all Vlad's chances are gone.

Whiteresigns: I'm starting to think those people who wanted to unload game 11 tickets may be pleasantly surprised.

Whiteresigns: See the GM's and everyone else tomorrow for the big curry party!

Whiteresigns: Draw! Again it's time to queue the Kramnik dancing rook!

Oct-23-08 Anand vs Kramnik, 2008 (replies)

Whiteresigns: At this point, shouldn't a draw feature a dancing Kramnik rook? ; p

Oct-21-08 Anand - Kramnik World Championship Match (2008) (replies)

Whiteresigns: <sergeidave: In 2000 Kasparov was in top form on his Match vs Kramnik> Though I'm not a fan of Kramnik bashing, I think this point is highly debatable.

Whiteresigns: As I was looking at my response, and Eyel's more sensible response, it occurred to me that Anand's e-pawn stayed on its home square until move 30. Startling in the Nimzo. Heck, that's even a long time in stationary e-pawn queen's indian lines.
