Zire: i heard someone call this a two move checkmate but that isnt the proper term because white helped black win. Correct?

May-30-04 Lindemann vs Echtermeyer, 1893 (replies)

Zire: jeez could white help black more? this is a pathetic game. and between two great players! What was this, blitz?

   Sep-25-03 Hort vs Keres, 1963

Zire: I duplicated this game up to move eight where instead of doing Re8 I did d6 which I like as a move.

Jul-24-03 NN vs Du Mont, 1802 (replies)

Zire: This checkmate position is very simmilar to that of the 2 move checkmate. Had that been developed yet or was this just a coincidence?

   Jul-24-03 W D Evans vs McDonnell, 1833 (replies)

Zire: I think that Ne4 is a plausible 9th move for black. Of course, white could always play Nbd2 and thwart this play.
