abject: I did not read all 33 pages of comments: MOve 17. Nc7?? why not Nc3 attack the queen first. Yes, I used fritz and he was clearly winning up to that move (+.50)? I think that was the inital down fall for him.

abject: Aginis, I agree Black has not played the best moves though 17.. She is in fact on the side of disadvantage…even with b4 imho. And even though the best moves were played from 17 to 20 … that the rook exchange was BADDDDDDD!! White was winning up to this point. Aginis – this is the ...

abject: The line up to move 8 can be found in a few games in books and on-line so this is possibly known up to this point or simply “smart” decisions on opening moves by both players. - While white’s 9th move is found as a strong continuation in the books – this game shows why it is not, and

abject: On move 17, I think white missed it only chance to keep the game even, with b5. the exchange would force the bishop to move, probably to f8 and out of the final continuation we have. It also would have let the a-file closed, which mean the rook could not us it….again in the final ...

abject: So where did White go wrong with the opening? Seems overall too timid as white never got a peice past the 4th rank

   Mar-07-05 Fischer vs J Bennett, 1957 (replies)

abject: I got it quickly. Marco, I think fisher "seen" this possibel line back around 31. as whites moves at 32 set everything up. 33 to 36 were the "best" respond to ensure mate did not happen or give Black back equality or advantage. or looking at it form Black's perspective, black was ...

abject: maybe Rdi putting pressue on the Queen king with a discovered check after the d3 bishop is moved: It is late and I just wanted to see the puzzle before bed! :-) no time to analize ;-)

abject: Lawrence & Pawntificator thanks! I have been trolling this site for awhile. Been using it this last 6 months to pass my off-time away waiting until I can return stateside from this deployment. was alittle gunshy in posting until recently.

   Sep-21-04 A Karklins vs A Sandrin, 1990 (replies)

abject: Hello, why not Nd5 on move 10, instead of a4? What is the purpose of the timing involved in doing a4 1st?? Thanks!
