apoorv: Wow! This is probably the easiest Sunday puzzle I have ever seen. I did Qf4+ and so on. There seem to be a lot of ways in which black can win.

Jan-18-06 Marshall vs Capablanca, 1914 (replies)

apoorv: This is the hardest Wednesday puzzle I have ever seen. At first, the best I could do was Kg2. Even after I saw Bg4, I didn't think it was completely winning since black gets 3 pawns for his bishop.

   Dec-28-05 T Shaked vs Kasparov, 1997 (replies)

apoorv: have fun drinking :)

Dec-27-05 Kramnik vs Anand, 2004 (replies)

apoorv: wait, that was stupid (don't read what i said before this please) just ignore me altogether

   Dec-20-05 Krauthauser vs H Herrmann, 1934 (replies)

apoorv: very true, that's why i never tried it before (but i play king's gambit where black has to be wary of opening traps)

   Dec-19-05 V Makogonov vs V Chekhover, 1937 (replies)

apoorv: HARDEST Monday puzzle of all time (took me 20 seconds)

   Dec-18-05 W Jordan vs H Hofstetter, 1999 (replies)

apoorv: i see no win within five moves for black, why the heck did the game end here? white's pawn structure is better

   Nov-27-05 Velimirovic vs J Fridjonsson, 1974 (replies)

apoorv: i didn't look through all the variations but even OTB, i would've played Rxh7, since it seems to win (looks a lot less complex than what actually happened in the game

Nov-25-05 Geller vs Kholmov, 1957 (replies)

apoorv: i thought of Qf4, and i see no way how it loses, threathening Qf6#

   Nov-22-05 T Fogarasi vs D Breder, 2000 (replies)

apoorv: i was looking for a checkmate, so completely missed the free queen (although i did look at Ra1+ and Bxb2+) 5 minutes wasted
