   Jan-17-10 A Zacharias vs P Groeppel, 2001

boprael: What's the problem with 14.h3?

   Jan-17-10 Jairo Moiraghi vs G Soppe, 2001

boprael: After the blunder 9.Nd5, black can simply capture the knight with the deadly pin on f3 still working. The game continuation is winning easily too, but after the 10.gxf3 Bxf3 11.Nxc7+ there can be some small complications (really small for a player rated almost 2500).

   Nov-15-08 Z Zhao vs Navara, 2008 (replies)

boprael: There must be an error in the score. The result was really a draw, but in the final position here black is a rook up, safely blocking all counterplay, and his pawn queens next move. I don't believe a draw was agreed in such position.

boprael: For <ounos>: The game score was wrong (rook exchange missing), see previous chessgames.com post. After the change the puzzle is really hard for tuesday: 27. ♔g3 ♕g4+!!.
