I was born in 1959, learned chess during the Fischer Boom (1972-1973). I played in the Fitchburg/Leominster, Mass. area at first and later in New Hampshire. With the help of Stephan Gerzadowicz (Correspondence Chess Master and a TD and organizer in the 70's and 80's in Massachusetts) eventually got to a Master rating 2300 USCF, give or take a few points. NH State Champ in 1975, 1981 and 1991.
