   Apr-30-04 L Cohen vs J Meyer, 1972 (replies)

cVeggyman: This game was awful. Both players made many mistakes.

Mar-04-04 Kasparov vs Topalov, 2004 (replies)

cVeggyman: I don't think Nh5 will do anything in the long run.

   Jan-11-04 H Delaire vs NN, 1901 (replies)

cVeggyman: At times, it amazes me how these players intuitively know that following this line of attack will lead to something positive.

Jan-03-04 NN vs Blackburne, 1884 (replies)

cVeggyman: Jeez... I would like to play this NN chap. He seems immortal. Not to mention he has interesting play ;)

   Dec-16-03 Anderssen vs E Schallopp, 1864 (replies)

cVeggyman: Ouch, that was a pretty spectacular lost. I like to think the older players, pre 1900's, were more experimental and more willing to do open games. I personally think it is pretty nifty.

   Dec-12-03 O Rodriguez Vargas vs F Olafsson, 1978 (replies)

cVeggyman: This was a very good combo indeed! It's simple and so very well contrived. I love it.

   Dec-03-03 I Farago vs K Bjerring, 1989 (replies)

cVeggyman: Farago seemed to have the game under control early on after Bjerring lost the center. I for some reason think of a shepard and his sheep when I see Bjerring's king and Farago's queen.

   Nov-30-03 K Georgiev vs I Rogers, 1993 (replies)

cVeggyman: This is an aggressive calculation by Rogers. It is most impressive; Georgiev had no idea what was coming.

   Nov-29-03 M Romm vs S Tatai, 1973 (replies)

cVeggyman: talchess: I hope they (chessgames.com) continue to put out difficult chess puzzles. It is good to have once in a while a difficult one to calculate. The easier ones are just simple rote motion to solve and are boring sometimes.

Nov-21-03 Deep Junior vs Deep Fritz, 2001 (replies)

cVeggyman: Why not 23 .. Ne6? I think with this move, Fritz might have been able to fend off the push.
