Nov-28-18 Carlsen vs Caruana, 2018 (replies)

chessvcr: If Caruana couldn't do it, nobody else from current top player would be able to do so. So where is our next World Chess Champion. May be some child prodigy, there are quite a few in 13 to 15 age group right now, though I believe Caruana will be challanger for next WCC alsl well.

chessvcr: <Looks very drawish to me. That usually means a Carlsen win at move 92...> Don't remind me of those painful games of WCC against Vishy. It happened thrice I guess in two Matches.

Nov-16-18 Carlsen vs Caruana, 2018 (replies)

chessvcr: < nok: <Are we in tablebase territory now?> I think there's an 8-piece one somewhere.> There is 32 piece tablebase as well, though in some other parallel universe.

Dec-29-17 World Rapid Championship (2017) (replies)

chessvcr: <<chessvcr: Can anyone explain why Nepo was not considered for Tiebreake? He was having 10.5, just like Vishy and Fedo.> Lower average rating of opponents.> Thn why not simply declare highest avg rating opponent the winner. Wht tie break at all. Not satisfying answer.

   Aug-11-17 Sinquefield Cup (2017) (replies)

chessvcr: I don't think that will be needed , as I will be waking up till 4 in the morning anyway, Indian standard Time.
