   Jun-07-05 Browne vs A Bisguier, 1974 (replies)

clapperrail: <who> Fischer played 3. NXe5 at least three times as White. Against Bisguier in 1959, Gheorghiu in 1970 and Petrosian in 1971.

   Jan-05-05 I Rabinovich vs Alekhine, 1920 (replies)

clapperrail: 34 Be3?? losses the queen to 34 ... Nf3+. If 35 Kf1 Nd4+.

Dec-27-04 Unzicker vs Reshevsky, 1958 (replies)

clapperrail: <ReikiMaster> Here is a site that calculates rating for many players. www.chessmetrics.com

   Dec-22-04 Pal Benko (replies)

clapperrail: I thought Pal Benko had retired from active play. Chesslab.com and Chessbase.com show no games played by Pal Benko in 2000 and 2001. Both sites list games for Peter Benkovic. Games are also listed for Francisco Benko and Markus Benkoe.

Dec-22-04 Bondarevsky vs Bronstein, 1948 (replies)

clapperrail: The result is incorrect. Chessbase.com and Chesslab.com both show the result of the game as a draw.

Nov-10-04 Bronstein vs Botvinnik, 1951 (replies)

clapperrail: <immortal loss> Your move 46.Rd8 is impossible. White does not have a rook at that point. The rook was taken on move 43.

   Oct-29-04 Tal vs B Gasic, 1966 (replies)

clapperrail: After 27 .. Re8, a plan for White could be play on the C file with Kg2, Rc3 followed by Rc7.

Oct-27-04 Kasparov vs Antoshin, 1980 (replies)

clapperrail: 30. Nd5 is not check. If Black plays 30. .. Rd5, then he drops one of his rooks after 31. Qc6+.

   Oct-26-04 Magnus Carlsen (replies)

clapperrail: <Sneaky> I agree with you. Fischer's rating was "inflated" before they had inflated ratings!! Back then 2600 put you among the strongest players in the world.

   Oct-26-04 Gennadi Sosonko (replies)

clapperrail: Zoltan Ribli: 68% draws.
